Nay Toe, (born Nay Lin Aung on September 9, 1981) is a Burmese actor and comedian with the Burmese traditional dance troupe Htawara Hninzi. He won a Myanmar Academy Award for Best Actor three times: in 2011 with "Moe Nya Einmet Myu", in 2016 with "Nat Khat Mhar Tae Tite Pwal", and in 2018 with "Tar Tay Gyi". He also won Star Award for Bridge of Clouds film in 2019. Nay Toe was born on 9 September 1981 to ethnic Rakhine parents, Than Myaing and her husband Aung Than. He is born in Taw Hthu Village in Manaung Township,Cheduba Island. Being the second-born child in the family, Nay Toe has an elder brother as well as a younger brother and a younger sister. His younger brother Min Thway is also an actor. Since then he has gained fame and recognition as a very outstanding performer not only on the movie screen but also on the stage. Another remarkable event in 2011 was winning the Academy trophy in Moe Nya Einmet Myu movie as the best leading actor. It was chosen out of 16 films screened in the country in 2009. His role in the movie was said to be intricate as the character he portrayed in the movie was suffering from multiple personality disorder and displayed three different personalities throughout the story.

Nay Toe is introverted, reserved and reticent in nature; so he was sometimes being mistaken by people as being arrogant. He pointed out that fact in his book and made apology for what he may be seemed in some situations, whereas he assured that he has pleasant, warm and friendly towards anybody.[2] This aura of coldness is how he got his nickname, 'Ice Prince'. Nay Toe was best Rakhine actor in Myanmar.

Moh Moh Myint Aung

Moht Moht Myint Aung (also Moh Moh Myint Aung) is a five-time Myanmar Academy Award winning Burmese film actress, best known for her leading lady roles in several Burmese films from the 1980s to the 2000s. Moht Moht Myint Aung was born in Yangon, the fifth child and youngest daughter of Myint Aung, a successful Burmese actor and director. She grew up in the Kyaukmyaung section of Tamwe Township. She wanted to be an actress like the leading ladies of the day like Wah Wah Win Shwe and Khin Than Nu. She attended high school at BEHS 1 Tamwe but failed the university matriculation exam several times. With most of her friends attending college, she gave up attending college and decided to focus on a film career. Moht Moht Myint Aung was virtually unknown until Kyaw Hein, one of the top leading men of his era, chose her to star in one of his films, Mun-Tet-Chein-Mha Nay-Win-Thi (The Sun Sets at Noon), in 1979. She was still in 8th Standard at the time.[1] After winning her first Academy Award for 1984, Mo Mo Myint Aung established herself as one of the leading actresses of Burmese cinema. She is one of very few actresses in the Burmese film history able to lead a successful multi-decade career in a leading lady role. Mo Mo Myint Aung is still popular, seen by many as having aged gracefully, and continues to appear in several films in age appropriate roles. In a testament to her enduring popularity, she won her latest Academy Award for Best Actress for 2008. Moht Moht Myint Aung is on the judges panel in the show Myanmar's Got Talent, the Burmese franchise of the Got Talent series. Filmography : Moht Moht Myint Aung has made several movies over her over-three-decade-long career. She has won five Myanmar Academy Awards for both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories.

Burma's first film was a recording of the funeral of Tun Shein - a leading politician of the 1910s, who campaigned for Burmese independence in London. It was captured with a second-hand camera by Ohn Maung and was screened at the Royal Cinema, near Scott Market (now Bogyoke Market), which belonged to a Mr Achar, a friend of Ohn Maung. Despite its documentary nature, the Burmese public was very proud of the film, which opened with the notice "Please accept our apologies for the poor quality of the film".
